Christopher J. Mahoney

Christopher J. Mahoney has been with the Law Offices of Paine, Kilpatrick, Coleman & Mahoney, P.S. since the summer of 1991 (having started as a law clerk while still attending law school).  Mr. Mahoney was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1993, and has remained with the law firm ever since.

Mr. Mahoney is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound School of Law in Tacoma, Washington.  Prior to law school, he attended the University of Oregon where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1987.   

Mr. Mahoney’s law practice emphasizes helping people hurt in accidents, including victims of automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, and bicycle accidents, and helping dog bite victims. He also serves as an arbitrator for the Superior Courts of Pierce County, King County, and Thurston County.

Mr. Mahoney is an active member in the Tacoma community, and strongly believes in putting people first.  He served as President of the Tacoma South Rotary Club from 2012-2013, where the guiding value is “Service above Self”.  He previously served for several years on the Parent Advisory Committee and Site Council for the Clover Park 5-12 School (now known as the Harrison Prep Academy).  He is also a member of the Pierce County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, and the Washington State Association of Justice.
